More Cash Games.. more of the same

I feel like I am playing about the best I have ever played in cash games but the coolers are alive and well. I needed to clear 100 more vpps tonight and I did within about an hour at the cash tables. I then stopped and watched some TV after a 20.00 winning session. After I watched Mad Money I felt like playing more cash games because I felt like I was playing great poker. Soooo Sick

Played 6 20.00 sngs tonight and shocker..... I only placed in one, luckily it was a 1st, but still a losing session.

I need 436 more vpp's for gold, so I guess I will load up some 100 NL and try to finish these up tonight.. ill update later how I did.

Marvell went down 20 cents today, but I think its ready for a nice upswing, I am still confident in the pick.

High Stakes Poker

Which means, if I start playing poker it wont be until at least 10:30ish.

I am not sure if I will be playing or not tonight. If I do I will be playing 20.00 sngs.



My shares of Marvell had the ride of their life today opening at 19.00 and dropping all the way down to 18.60 at one point in the day only to rally back up to 19.00 at the end of the day. I think we could see some gains starting tomorrow! I hope so at least!!

Rough Day

I took a little time off after the terrible run in the satellites today and just watched Hill play. Then later on I decided to load up a couple multi-table sngs. I played a 25.00 2 table turbo and ended up finishing 5th (bubbled) and took 9th in an 18 man 33.00 sng. After those two tourneys I decided I would stop playing for the day since I had entered 8 tourneys today and did not cash in a single one.

I have no class tomorrow so I will probably get up around early and mess with some stocks. I think I might try making some quick trades... who knows.

But anyway, I think I am going to just grind out some 20.00 sngs until I can pay Hill back. I hate oweing people money, so I am going to try to pay Hill back by this time next week. I think I can make 500.00 within the next week to pay Hill back just by grinding out 20's. We will see!

Hopefully things turn around! Thats all for today...

Tonight and tomorrow

So.. my speech class sounds like it is going to be brutal. I hate speaking in public, but I guess it will be good for me... but damn I hate it.

Tonight I played just 6 sngs because I almost tilted after I busted outta the 3rd and 4th ones, losing two straight flips and then trapping this guy only to get bad beated on the end. I ended up taking down 1 and finishing 3rd in another. I ended up making $24 not bad considering I think I took it on the chin a bit with bad beats.

Tomorrow I think I will get up early and start grinding out some turbo rebuys to the million and the sunday warm up. Here is what I am planning to play:

Results from today!

Well MRVL closed at 19.02 today which is 13 cents higher than what I bought it at today. I got an email tonight from Cramer saying that he would only purchase MRVL if a pullback occured but he still likes the stock (figures since I just bought it). I will be looking into Halliburton (HAL), NewsCorp (NWSA), and Schering-Plough (SGP) next week to see if any of these stocks pull back, if they do I might sell out of MRVL and buy into one of these positions. The reason being is just because Cramer doesnt like tech. He says he is optimistic when it comes to Marvell, but I think it could be a tough road. I havnt decided what ill do just yet.

I played 8 straight sit n go's tonight and made the money in 5. I took three 1st's and two 2nd's. I felt like I played really well tonight heads up (which has been the weak point in my game). I also did a good job pounding the bubble and building a nice lead going into heads up play. I started my session with a nice suckout QQ vs AA on a J high flop and didn't look back from there. I finished the session with a profit of $321, pretty exciting since I haven't been able to get anything going the last few weeks. I'll keep chugging away tomorrow and hopefully I can make some more money heading into next week.

Hill staked me $500 bucks yesterday because I can no longer deposit and was tired of trying to grind up 90 bucks to a bankroll which could sustain the grind of 30.00 sngs. It is proving to be a good move because I really needed the $321 profit. I am hoping I can send Hill back his money sometime soon, maybe even this weekend!

I have speech in the morning which should be a major dagger. I heard my teacher is a bit TRIFLING. I hope its not too bad.

After class tomorrow I will probably just go to the gym then start grinding the 20's during the day, then move up to the 30's later in the night. Sunday they are having satellites to the million, but the buy in is 500 bucks, which kinda sucks b/c there will be way less donks in the satellites. I'll probably end up waiting another 2 weeks to play the normal 215 ones (Although next week is the Superbowl!!!)

1st entry

I will be posting in this blog everyday (hopefully) and will prolly just talk about random shit in my life.

Last night I put in an order for 100 shares of Marvell MRVL stock at market's open. I ended up getting in at 18.89, and the stock is up 24 cents today. Cramer has over 10,000 shares of this stock for his action alerts plus.com portfolio and I have pretty much put all my eggs in one basket because 2,000 in the stock market is literally nothing. I am hoping this stock can rise at least to 25 bucks so I can make a nice profit. I will probably be taking a lot of risks in the stock market to try to build up the 2k as quickly as possible. I feel like I dont have much to lose being that I am only 20 years old and can probably make 2k back in poker without much of a problem over the next few months. I am also keeping my eye on two other stocks. LVLT, which is a company that deals directly with YouTube and Myspace and RiteAid who is supposed to acquire some other company (which Cramer says is a good thing) These two stocks are also the top 2 speculative stocks for Cramer in 2007.

That being said poker has been a big pain in the ass as of late. I feel like I am playing about as good as I possibly can. That being said, I am on a sick downswing. As soon as I got my silver star for being in the top 20 avg profit per sng players I have done nothing! Over the past 130 sngs or so I have been a break even player, which really sucks! I guess all that running good has finally caught up to me. (I made nearly 3k in 1 month.... all from sngs) I will continue grinding starting tonight and can hopefully turn things around.
